How to Create Policy Links

Neola’s Policy Publishing Tool has the ability to link to the active policy documents. URL’s stay the same as content is updated with new content. URL’s are also created using plain text for easy linking.

If you know the components of the URL you can manually create individual URLs for each document that needs to be linked outside of your Policy Manual.

Below is an example of a policy URL and an explanation of the components of the URL.

Example: https://go.neola.com/akron-oh/policy/policy-manual/po0131

Individual URL components to create individual Links:

1.[https://go.neola.com] 2.[/akron-oh/policy] 3.[/policy-manual] 4.[/po031]

  1. Neola URL: https://go.neola.com
  2. District Specific ID: Ex: /akron-oh/policy
  3. Book ID: Ex: /policy-manual
  4. Specific Policy Number: /po031

Parts 1 and Part 2 of the URL can stay the same for a district. Part 3 only changes if referencing a different book (ex: Policy Manual vs. Administrative Guideline) Part 4 will change to reference specific documents (ex: po100 or ag2470, etc…)
