Why Neola Needs the Disposition Sheet

Every update submission to Neola Production must include a completed Disposition Sheet. Neola uses this to verify that submitted materials accurately match your board's official actions and dates, providing production staff with exact policy adoption dates. It also acts as a vital double-check, allowing Neola to confirm the correct materials are being processed and quickly contact the district regarding any missing documents.

Steps for Filling Out the Disposition Sheet

1. Open the Document Open the Disposition Sheet located in your Draft book. (Note: If you need a blank disposition sheet, you can download one by clicking the "Book" menu, selecting "Import", and retrieving it from your Update Subscriptions).

2. Add Adoption Dates Edit the sheet to input the official adoption dates for all of the policies approved by the board.

3. Log Rejected Policies Enter the date for any policy updates that the District rejected. This communicates to production that these materials should not be processed and will be removed.

4. Note Tabled Policies If the District tabled a policy for future consideration, indicate this in the table column. This ensures the policy is not processed and safely remains in your draft workspace for a future meeting.

5. Submit with Your Materials When you are ready to submit your adopted policies using the "Send to Neola" or "Send to Production" function, ensure your completed Disposition Sheet is selected and included in the submission package.
